Bad Camberg Serviceware SE (“Serviceware“, ISIN DE000A2G8X31) has developed a solution to support medical centers and laboratories in scheduling patient visits in these difficult times.
Immediately responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, Serviceware developed the solution to address visitor capacities at medical centers, test sites and in waiting areas to minimize social contact and spread of the virus. Additionally, the solution which is based on a module of the Serviceware Enterprise Service Management Platform, provides an enhanced overview of the daily schedule for the laboratories and medical centers and makes it easier for patients to make appointments via a self-service portal.
The solution is available now and the first Go-Live is planned for June 1st at Atalmedial, the biggest Amsterdam area laboratory handling 10,000 blood samples per day, with three other medical facilities/organizations to follow soon after.
“We are excited being able to introduce this solution to our patients and our staff,” says Peter Smits, Manager Operations at Atalmedial. “Needless to say that the wellbeing of our patients and staff is our absolute priority. With this Serviceware solution, we are able to minimize the risk for an infection to an absolute minimum and we appreciate the enhanced utilization of our valuable facilities.”
“I am pleased that our team in Leiden has been able to deliver this solution very quickly to both the people and the medical institutions,” says Dirk K. Martin, CEO of Serviceware and continues: “The rapid development process as well as the flexible mapping of the requirements articulated by the customer, underline the absolute customer and market orientation of the Serviceware platform with the healthcare market being a fantastic market opportunity for us.”
